Grayce Petrie Vickroy passed away on June 15, 2015. She was born in Chicago, IL and moved to Moline, IL when she was 11 years old. She married SFC Marvin Vickroy in 1946. Some of the duty stations were in Alaska and Germany, along with many other parts of the USA. In 1966, she moved back to her home in Jacksonville, FL. She worked for Civil Service at Mayport Naval Station, FL and Kings Bay Naval Submarine Station, GA, retiring in 1985. She leaves behind many wonderful friends and family, including her son, Scott (Carol) Vickroy of Kansas; daughter, Susen Vickroy (Randal) St. Peter of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Violet Peterson of Moline, IL. A private ceremony will be held at a later date.
