

Harold Eugene Kendrick was born October 23, 1945, in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Robert, Jr. and Demaris Kendrick. He attended the local schools in Duval County, graduating from Northwestern High School, Class of 1963.
Harold was first employed at Winn Dixie Corporations and after working there for a while he was drafted into the United States Army and was inducted May 5, 1966. While serving his country in Vietnam, he received the National Defense Service Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Vietnam Service Medal w/1 Bronze Service Star, Air Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and a Purple Heart. After an honorable discharge from the military Harold spent 20 years working at Pantry Pride Foods Corporation. He was employed at the Kellogg, Reynolds and Brown Company for over 30 years working at Blount Island until his retirement in 2023.
Harold met and married Addie Holiday on July 5, 2023 and enjoyed a happy and enjoyable life together until his transition.
Harold loved spending time with his family and friends and if you really knew him, you knew that he was a die-hard Dallas Cowboy football fan. He loved “Dem” Cowboys! You would find him in front of the TV watching his beloved Cowboys routing them on to a win. He also enjoyed listening to old school music.
Harold was preceded in death by his beloved parents Robert, Jr. and Demaris Kendrick and grandparents Robert, Sr. and Rosella Kendrick who raised him, his loving sisters Sharon Kendrick, Gail Kendrick Thomas and Gloria “Ponde” Kendrick Banks.
Harold leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife Addie Kendrick and her daughter Rochelle Dubovecky (Brett) and 4 grandchildren, sister, Deborah Kendrick Cummings, nieces Erika Banks, Erin Kendrick and Lauren Calhoun, sisters-in-law Gloria Forest (Randy) and Ann McKinnon (Kelvin), brother-in-law, Eddie Holiday (Clara), devoted brother Gerald Savage, devoted cousin Jonas Albertie (Ruthie Mae) and a host of loving extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
