He graduated from Asbury University in Willmore, Kentucky where he met his wife of 67 years. He received his seminary degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and served as a United Methodist Minister in the Florida conference for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife, Naomi Massey Baas, his two daughters, Brenda Baas Donaldson and Linda Baas Wells. He also has 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
There was a special love he had for all his family and beloved friends. He will be missed by everyone.
