COUNCIL.....Helen Lowe Council, 93, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. She was born in Jacksonville and graduated from Lee High School. Mrs. Council was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Charles B. Council, Sr. and her daughter, Sydney Olivia Council. Mrs. Council was a devoted Navy wife, with her husband retiring after a 23 year career. She will be remembered as a loving and compassionate mother and as a committed member of the Church of Christ.She is survived by her son, Charles B. Council, Jr. (Pamela); daughter, Charlene Taulbee; sister, Sarah Howell; 6 grandchildren, Charlie Taulbee (Jessica), Jeremy Taulbee (Jenny), Kira Taulbee, Jenny Zagaria (Nick), Jaime Council, and Kenny Council; and 3 great grandchildren, Clarissa, Brighton, and Samara. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday (TONIGHT), February 8th, at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 9th at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
