Born in Yazd, Iran, he was the eldest of five children and an exceptional student from a young age. Following in his father’s footsteps, a highly regarded physician who opened the first modern hospital in Yazd, Dr. Khosravi chose a career in medicine and excelled in medical school, where he met the love of his life, Nooshazar, his wife of 54 years. Together, they trained in England before settling in the United States, where he completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology.
A pioneering OB/GYN in Jacksonville, Dr. Khosravi was known for both innovation and compassion. He was the first in the community to perform a laparoscopic hysterectomy and helped bring the first surgical robot to Memorial Hospital. Above all, he was deeply loved by his patients, having cared for and delivered generations of women and families.
His greatest joy was his family. He was a devoted father to his daughter, Mitra, the center of his life, and a loving grandfather to Olivia and James. In recent years, he treasured time spent in Rochester, Minnesota, with his family, and was the center of joy in the home.
Dr. Khosravi is survived by his wife, Nooshazar; his daughter, Mitra; his son-in-law, Patrick; his grandchildren, Olivia and James; and his siblings, Mehry, Rashid, Fereydoon, and Sarvar.
He was profoundly loved and will be deeply missed.
Services will be held on January 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Oaklawn Cemetery/Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home in Jacksonville, Florida, followed by a luncheon to celebrate his life at Epping Forest Yacht Club.
