Howard William Kaufmann, beloved husband, father, Zadie, brother and Uncle, passed away peacefully at his home on February 4th, 2025 at the age of 79. Born on December 10, 1945, in Brooklyn, New York, Howard was a man filled with kindness, love and integrity who passionately loved his family and his country.
Howard proudly served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam from February, 1968 to September, 1969.
Howard is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Beverly; his son Andy, his Daughters, Farah and Bonnie; his grandchildren, Sawyer, Zachary, Dana, Aaron and Samantha. He is also survived by his brother Barry Kaufmann and his sister Pauline Churwin. He was preceded in death by his brothers Stephen and Michael Kaufmann and Howard Churwin, and his parents Bernard and Betty.
Graveside Services will be held on February 6th, 10:00am at Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32207. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to River Garden Hebrew Home in Howard’s memory.
Howard’s kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
