Hugh was in the Naval Reserves from 1945-1946. He worked as a Fabricator in the Steel Industry for many years, from which he retired. Hugh’s faith was very important to him, and he was heavily involved in Mandarin Baptist Church.
He is predeceased by his parents; his first wife, Merle; and his second wife, Lala.
Hugh is survived by his sons, Paul (Bobbie) and Larry, step-son, Bruce (Karen); and his grandchildren, Keri and Ryan.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday November, 18th at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin, 11801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32223.
