Ira Sanders Connell

Buddy was a retired meat cutter who enjoyed spending time with family and relaxing on his porch. He was known for his strong faith and was a member of The Worship Center of Jacksonville. He was full of life, with a huge heart and loved everyone he met. Buddy never met a stranger. His greatest passions were living life with his wife Patty, helping others and was always eager to give and receive a little teasing just for fun. He enjoyed old Western Movies, Classic Country Music and telling stories. Buddy was a handful of of energy who will always be known for his signature catchphrase, " Write me a check!"

Buddy is preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Elle Connell: one brother Sammy Connell: and five sisters Pinkey Ratliff, Ella Crutchfield, Lillian Connell, Billie Thornton and Linda Johnson. Buddy is survived by his wife Patricia Ann Connell: son Joseph Ira Connell and two daughters Christy Gail McCalip ( Mike) and Christina Hope Hanna (Keith) and two sisters Katherine Rose and Martha Nelson: eight Grandchildren: five Great Grandchildren and many

nieces, nephews and friends.

Arrangements entrusted to Hardage Giddens 729 S Edgewood Ave. Graveside funeral services will be held on at 11am Saturday April 22 Edgewwod Cemetery, 4519 N Edgewood Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32219.
