Irving C. “Nick” Nichols was born on August 31, 1939 in Lexington, Tennessee.
He was an adventurous man who raced go-karts, motorcycles, built boats, made his golf clubs, fished, dived and built slot cars.
He served in the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard. He was stationed in Japan and South America.
He later taught himself to make jewelry and became one of the premier jewelers in the southeast. He was a pioneer in the CAD designing of jewelry. He also coached youth baseball and once sported a 24-0 baseball team. His wife, Allayne, dearly loved him for 59 years. Nick was her best friend and soulmate.
He is survived by his wife Allayne, daughter Brenda, son Rick (Nadine), grandson Chad, Sister Inez Lott, niece Diane and her son Daniel, nephew Danny and his best friend Pete Magee, survives him. He will join his daughter Vicki and her son Cheyenne, his parents DRoy and Ledell Nichols.
