Jack V. Lyncker

Jack Von Lyncker, 89, passed away on December 19,2014. Jack was born July 16, 1925 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was known by his friends and family as Bubba or Jackie . He served as a United States Merchant Marine for over 40 years before retiring in 1986. Jack loved being outdoors, especially working in the yard, was an excellent cook, and a diehard fan of the Florida Gators.

Jack was truly a great man with a big heart and would rather do for others than have others do for him. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him and loved him. He is survived by his spiritual son Joseph Max Gladden; grandchildren, Kaylee M. Gladden, Mckenzie K. Gladden, and Zachary J. Gladden; nephew, Stephen Gasque and George Lyncker; other nieces and nephews as well.

A Private Funeral Service will be held at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements by the Edgewood Chapel of Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 729 South Edgewood Ave., Jacksonville, Florida 32205.
