Jacob Jack Mitchell, Jr., passed away June 25, 2016. He was a native of Great Falls, South Carolina. A Funeral service will be held at Hardage-Giddens Hendricks Chapel, located at 4115 Hendricks Ave. at 2:30 Friday. Visitation is 5:00 - 8:00 Thursday.
Jack graduated from the University of South Carolina an AVID Gamecock and a Doctor of Pharmacology. After serving in the U.S.Army he moved to Jacksonville. He prided himself on establishing the 1st drug store in Middleburg. Jack loved living at the beach, traveling and a good game of cards.
He is preceded in death by his parents,Jacob and Sophia. He is survived by his wife, Belinda of 26 years; his sister, Nell Meide; and his nephews, Micheal, Scott, and Jeff. Dr. Jack will be greatly missed by a host of additional family and friends.
