James is preceded in death by his father and mother Ernest and Hattie Brackins. He is survived by his wife Leann and three children; Schriee, James Jr., Nicole (Keith), 8 grandchildren; his brothers and sisters Roy (Annette), Rita (Keith), Wayne (Joyce), Betty, Theresa (J.R.), countless friends and coworkers to cherish his memory.
James was an excellent provider and possessed strong work ethics. He was employed as Warehouse Manager at Swindal & Powell Wholesale Furniture Company for 30 years and at Orange Park Furniture Company until he passed. If James wasn’t cheering his beloved Gators; he was either fishing, playing poker or just relaxing in his backyard. He will be sorely missed.
A memorial service will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery at two o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, February 28, 2015. HARDAGE-GIDDENS, THE OAKLAWN CHAPEL, 4801 San Jose Boulevard is serving the family.
