DOTSON, James Joseph Dotson, 83 and a child of God, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017. Mr. Dotson, a U.S. Marine veteran, was a member of the Masonic lodge and the jaycees. He was also a member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church where he worked at the food pantry for the Arlington community. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Dolores; 3 daughters: Cindy, Ann and Jo; 2 brothers, Bill (Harriet) and Homer (Marilyn); granddaughter, Dolores; and many other family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 9, at Ft. Caroline Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in his name to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
