HORTON - James "Jim" Horton peacefully passed away at his home on June 11, 2019 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife Debbie Horton; beautiful daughter Alexis Horton; mother-in-law Vickie McGowan and father-in-law James McGowan; sister Karen Horton; his niece Tiffany Lingerfelt; his nephew James Lingerfelt; brother Allan Horton; sister-in-law Michele Horton; his nephews Logan Horton and Maximus Horton, as well as his extended family. He was preceded in death by his mother Joan Horton and his father James "Tucker" Horton as well as other extended family members. Jim was employed as an Auto Tech who loved fishing, karaoke and NASCAR. The family will receive friends and acquaintances on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 pm at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida. (Flowers will be received at the same address) Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in Jim's memory.
