MOONJames Earl Moon, 63, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2007. Mr. Moon was born April 30, 1944 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and had resided in Jacksonville for many years. He enjoyed his yard work and fishing. He was employed as a utility worker for 25 years with JEA and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Elaine; his mother, Cora Baker; four step- daughters, Wanda Mace, Roxanne Patterson, Rochelle Lopez and Rene Heller; two step-sons, George Heller and David Teston; one brother, Orville Lee Moon; eight step-grandchildren; a niece, Cynthia Allen and a nephew, Robert J. Hammond, Jr.. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, August 10, 2007 in North Jacksonville Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Coram officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday (Today) from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Avenue.
