James Comer Vaughan, 52, of Jacksonville, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2011. James was born on December 10, 1958 to the late Donald and Louise (Blackwell) Vaughan. He moved to Jacksonville in 1969, coming from Tampa. He was a graduate of Ed White High School in Jacksonville. James worked as a Warehouse Supervisor for Reliatex Inc. for the past 31 years. He loved fishing, football, and was an avid NASCAR Fan. James was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lori Vaughan. Survivors include his sisters, Donna Nagy, Debra Smith (Tracy), and Linda Vaughan; his brother, William Vaughan (Sandi); and many nieces, nephews, & great nieces and great nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 13, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at 6:00 pm in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin, 11801 San Jose Blvd. Memorial donations may be made in memory of James to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231.
