Jason Eric Payne

Jason Eric Payne, 42, Jacksonville, FL, loving husband and father passed away suddenly on September 24, 2021. He graduated from Sandalwood High School in 1998 and was a popular football player and class clown. Jason enjoyed playing guitar, weightlifting, and Florida Gators football. Jason adored his wife Tina and cherished his son Jaden, as family meant everything to him. He was well loved by his AmeriGas co-workers where he worked hard to take care of his family. He always had a smile on his face, he never had an unkind word to say about anyone, and he loved to laugh as much as he loved to make others laugh.

He is survived by his wife, Tina, son Jaden, step-son Jacob, and grandsons Jacob and Lincoln. He is also survived by his mother Mary, brothers Joey and John, grandfather John, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless other loving family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Jay, step-father Gary, grandmothers Lucy and Dorothy, grandfather Joseph, and uncle Jerry.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held for Jason at the Legacy Lodge at Oaklawn Cemetery at 4801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207 on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 1:00 PM.
