

Jaye Anne Ducote Hobbs, 64, of Orange Park, died June 30, 2013. Born in Munich, Germany, Jan was the daughter of Carolyn Goodrich Ducote and the late Col. Richard Joseph Ducote. She attended Auburn University and was graduated from Marymount College, New York. Active in the Orange Park community, Jan volunteered for the American Cancer Society, Orange Park Senior Center, Clay County Advocacy Council, and Alzheimer CARE. She is preceded in death by her ex-husband, Hubert Daughtry Hobbs of Jacksonville. She is survived by her son, Richard Kendall Hobbs, granddaughter, Adrianna, brother, Richard Joseph Ducote III (Teresa) of Atlanta, sister, Kathy Ducote Long (William) of Jacksonville, and twelve nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be held Saturday, July 13 at 11am at St. Matthews Catholic Church 1773 Blanding Blvd., Jacksonville, FL.
