Jean Williams Ernest, age 81, died November 8, 2012. She was born in Georgetown, South Carolina, the eldest daughter of Alma Ray and Jule Williams. She was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School and retired from the Department of the Navy.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, two daughters, Sharon Lynn of Jacksonville, FL and Sandy Dodd of Tierra Verde, FL, a son, Michael Ernest of Jacksonville, FL, a grandson, Christopher Lynn, and two great-granddaughters, Rachel and Kendall, of Jacksonville FL. She was preceded in death by a son, Ed Ernest.
A funeral service to celebrate her life is to be held Friday, November 16, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hardage-Giddens Chapel, 4315 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. A private burial will be held after the service. Please visit www.hardage-giddensmainst.com to leave sympathy messages.
