Jeanne P. Cunningham, 90, died June 29, 2017, at her home after a brief illness. Mrs. Cunningham was born in Pennsylvania and educated in New York and Kentucky. She attended Elmira College and earned her Bachelor’s degree from Union College and her Master’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University. Mrs. Cunningham retired from the Duval County School system after 34 years of service. She taught at Englewood High School and Terry Parker High School. She enjoyed traveling extensively, playing bridge and gardening. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Edwin B. Cunningham. She is survived by 2 daughters; Allison Edwards (Charlie) of Tallahassee, FL and Anne English (Bob) of Superior, CO; one son, Allen Cunningham (Debi) of Jacksonville Beach, FL; 5 grandsons; one great grandson; and 2 great granddaughters.
The family will be receiving family and friends on Wednesday, July 5th from 3-5 pm at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. and the Funeral Mass will the held Thursday, July 6th at 10:30 am at Christ the King Catholic Church, 742 Arlington Rd N. Jacksonville, FL.
