Jennifer Joan Baker

Jennifer was born on January 30,1968 in Jacksonville, Florida to Ferris and Mary Baker. She graduated from Sandalwood Jr. - Sr. High School, class of 1986. She began her career as a pharmacy technician at Baptist Medical Center Downtown campus where she was employed for 36 years. She was state and national certified.

She was a friend to all and loved by everyone who knew her. She was known for her caring and giving ways. We will deeply miss her beautiful smile and laughter.

She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Cub Scout Pack 5 and Boy Scout Troop 5. She enjoyed camping, the Catholic camporees, Scout Blast family camping and summer camp. She loved to listen to 80's music. She reveled in lawn work and gardening. She was a foster mom to her dogs and cats. She raised backyard chickens. She had a good time traveling by car or cruising to the islands.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents, niece Linda Baker and sister in-law Karen Baker. Survivors include her son Andrew Baker brothers and sisters; Kerry (Donna Elizabeth) Baker, Donna Marie Baker, Bonnie (Frank) Smitherman of Mt. Dora, FL, Nancy (Ronald) Vernon, Andy Baker, Mary Ann Baker of Columbiana, AL, Ferris (Missy) Baker, and a plethora of neices and nephews. As well as a Cornucopia of friends and co-workers.

She will be cremated and memorial services will be held at a later date still to be determined.
