Jerry O. "Jb" Barrow

BARROW Jerry O. Barrow JB age 71 of Jacksonville died December 3, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Sandra R. Barrow, Son Michael Trace and daughter in law Jennie S., grandchildren, Drew Michael and Ben Fisher, sister Emalene Feagle and numerous nieces and nephews and loved ones. JB was preceded in death by his father Osgood and his mother Effie Cason Nana Barrow, his sister Wanda Faye Stewart and his brother Wesley Leon Barrow. JB was a lifelong resident of North Florida and was in the used car business for over 50 years. Growing up in the car business led to the management, then ownership of Wynne s Auto Sales and currently ownership of Paxon Motors Inc. Over the years JB financed thousands of cars and touched many lives. His love of the car business was matched only by his love of boating and fishing. Although the last few years of his life were a struggle, he never lost his sense of humor or the desire to know What did you sell today? or What did you catch? . The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday December 6th, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Edgewood Chapel, 729 South Edgewood Ave. The funeral service to honor JB's life will be Saturday December 7th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hardage-Giddens Edgewood Chapel. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Craig Memorial Gardens 2600 Old Moultrie Road St. Augustine, Florida. Arrangements are under the direction of Hardage-Giddens Edgewood Chapel.
