Jesse Russell Knight

Mr. Knight was born in Lafayette, Tn to the late Jesse A. Knight and Ellen Hale Knight. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Edward Lee Blackshear; his brothers Webb, Jack, Bobby Knight; and his sister Mary Pryor.

He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years Freeda, daughter, Monika Blackshear (Dawson); grandson, JD Blackshear; granddaughters, Amanda Kirkland (Will), and Samantha Stuart (Landon); two great-grandsons, Graham and Sawyer Stuart; brother, Billy Knight and sister Pheobe Knight Helm.

He was a veteran and had retired from Anheuser Busch electrical maintenance. He enjoyed his livestock, raising buffalo and beefalo, and he enjoyed spending time with his brothers and sisters in Christ.

Mr. Knight was a Christian. He was an active member, and worshiped, at Lake Forest Church of Christ where a memorial service will be held on Monday, July 6, 2020, at 6:00 pm. The visitation and viewing will begin at 5:00 p.m. Mr. Knight will be buried at Memorial Gardens in Lafayette, TN.
