Joan Spray Ford, born in Bristol, England on December 22, 1924 passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 13, 2015. She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Robert & Dixie Ford, and her daughter & son-in-law, Ann & Mac Heavener, Jr. She was well loved by her granddaughters, Amanda and Erin Ford, and by grandsons and granddaughters-in-law, Mac III and Cindy, Matthew and Debbie, Micah and Tiffany, and Michael and Silke Heavener. She was blessed with 8 great-grandchildren, Brook, Mackenzie, Matthew Jr., Joseph, Andrew, Dutch, Ariella, and Noah Heavener. Joan enjoyed and loved her many friends and time at her church.
Funeral services will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church on Thursday, June 18th, at 2:00PM. Rev. Donavan Cain will officiate and interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Joan's wish was that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
