Joann Raines Williams Arinsberg led an interesting life, certainly not boring. She was a second Lt. Nurse in the Air Force. She lived with her last husband in Israel before he died. She loved sewing and needlework which is reflected by all of many things in her home. She was intelligent and very well read. Her books reflect her interest in everything from History to Current Events and she had taught herself braille and Hebrew. Although her hands were crippled with the arthritis, she was able to make beautiful things with her needlework and her sewing machine. She had no live pets but she loved sculptors of all kinds of animals from lions to horses to Mice. She was a loner of sort but she was not lonely. She loved the Jacksonville Jewish Center and was active there especially during the Holidays. Joann was employed by Brooks Home Care Advantage as a Quality Assurance Specialist. She enjoyed her work and loved her co-workers. She was very much loved by All Who knew her. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 13th in New Center Cemetery (43rd and Liberty), with Hazzan Jesse Holzer as Officiant. Contributions may be made to the Jacksonville Jewish Center Arrangements are under the care and direction of Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home 4115 Hendricks Ave. Jacksonville, FL 32207.
