Joann is survived by her husband, Ned Shimp; sons, Stephen, Randy and Thad Shimp; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, Sept. 30th in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home. The Graveside Service will be held at 11am on Friday, Oct 1st in Oaklawn Cemetery with Rev. Bill Yeldell as Officiant.
Memorial donations preferred to Community Hospice Hadlow Center.
