Born and raised in Dundee, IL, she grew up and received a BS degree from Concordia Teachers College in Seward, NE. She made a career of teaching elementary students at several Lutheran schools. While in St. Louis, she met and married David Poole from Jacksonville, FL. An active member of Celebration Lutheran Church in St. Johns County, she volunteered at the Christ Cupboard food bank and Lutheran Brail Workers. She is survived by her husband David, sister Sue Engstrom, and her brother Tom Mueller.
A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 10th in Celebration Lutheran Church, 810 Roberts Road, Jacksonville, FL 32259.
