John Edward Dickerson, 65, passed away in Jacksonville, Florida on Thursday, August 4, 2022. He was born in Welch, West Virginia on September 21, 1956 to Edward M. Dickerson and Maxine Siegler-Dickerson.
He served his country faithfully in the US Army in the Germany Arena.
John is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly; a daughter, Erica N. Selvig; four sons, Jonathan D. Dickerson, William E. Dickerson, Christopher A. Dawson, Steven T. Dickerson, and; two sisters, Kay Dorsey and Donna Allen; and one brother, Roby L. Dickerson (Darlene).
A Celebration of John’s life is scheduled for Friday, August 26, 2022 in the Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home Chapel, 940 Cesery Blvd. at 12 noon. Interment will be at Jacksonville National Cemetery with military honors at 2:30 PM also on August 26.
