John Kim

John Kim, 36, passed away in Saint Augustine, Florida on June 20, 2024. He was born on August 5, 1987 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Nim Ses. He moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 2017 where he met Jasmine Buchmeier. Together they raised a son they shared named Christian Jay Kim, born on January 12, 2021. John loved being with his son; he was an amazing father and he dedicated his life to him. In his spare time, he enjoyed going to the beach and being with family. John loved his family dearly and he loved his mother more than anything.

His family paid this tribute to him. “John was the most selfless person. He’d go the extra mile to give you his last dollar if you needed it. He will truly be missed and will forever be loved.”

He is survived by his son, Christian Jay Kim, his mother, Nim Ses, and his siblings, Sean Nguon, Soeun Ngorn, Sondra Nim and Von Ngorn. He is also survived by ten nieces, eight nephews, six great-nieces and seven great-nephews.

Services will be held on June 29, 2024 at 9:00am until 11:00am at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Homes & Crematory
