John Walter Pafford, Jr.

John Walter Pafford, Jr., 27, of New York, NY, formerly of Jacksonville, unexpectedly passed away Saturday, December 12, 2009. Born in Jacksonville to John and Linda Pafford, John was a loving and devoted son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He was a 2000 graduate of Bishop Kenny High School and was presently attending the Institute of Culinary Education in Manhattan, NY. Preceded in death by his father, John Walter Pafford, Sr. and grandparents, George Gibbs Pafford, Elenore Gene Pafford and William Ralph Norton, he is survived by his loving mother, Linda N. Pafford; grandmother, Elizabeth C. Norton; uncles, G. Mark Pafford and Paul G. Pafford (Patti); cousins and many close friends. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Assumption Catholic Church with Father Fred Parke officiating. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday with at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Avenue with a vigil service at 6:30 PM.
