" I have great memories of Johnny, I was trying to get ahold of him over the last few months, and am saddened that I Couldnt connect. I was thinking of the party at my house before I went into the Army, and Johnny, my cousin Willie and I went for a crazy ride in Willies 70 GTO, Johnny drove and we had a flash rain storm on a cobblestone road and Johnny lost it, and man did we wreck,, screwed that car up. Everyone would up at the hospital, consoling and laughing, except for Willie, his car was tottalled... Man the crazy good ol days in Uniondale N.Y.....Saw Johnny in Florida back in 04-05?  Had such a great time..Love ya Johnny, miss ya friendship.. I could tell 100 stories...Gods gonna enjoy him.. He had a great smile....All the best to ya brother..."   Bobby Feist Pottsboro, Texas

The first time I met John was when he was 8 years old and I was dating his brother Frank. He was a small quiet boy who kept to himself with not much to say. Over the years he grew up, got married, and had a son. He moved to Florida and Frank and I went to his wedding in Ft. Lauderdale where he wed Linda. We had limited contact as our lives were years apart. John and Linda moved to Jacksonville and I remember his surprise 50th birthday party. It was a blast. We also drove with John and Linda to Nancy's in North Carolina. It was qutie a feat for John due to his illness, however, he was a trooper and the trip was great. One and a half weeks later we had to return to N. Carolina as Johns' Mom passed away. We flew and realized just how difficult it was to travel for John. He will be missed by all who knew him.
We hope you are in a better place and are no longer suffering.

I remember the very first time I met Johnny. I was 4 years old and the new kid on the block (Mind you, we weren't even old enough to cross the street yet) and here was Johnny throwing rocks at me from across the street.  From that day forward, he became a friend for life!!!!!
I am going to miss you buddy.

Johnny was a great friend, Growing up with him, I was always glad to have him around as the sane one in the group. The best memory i can think of to share is when we went skiing at Belleayre Mountain in the Catskills. Johnny had never been skiing before, and he wore a brand new pair of jeans. by the end of the day, there were streaks of blue all over the slope!
                                
Johnny, we all love you for what you meant to us and brought to us. Keep the beers cold! With any luck, we'll meet you on the other side.
