Josephine "Josie" Martinez Fuentez

Josie was born and raised in Ranger, Texas and later moved to Eastland, Texas where she married her husband, Paul Fuentez. The family then moved to Florida where they raised their three children and five grandchildren. She was a natural caretaker that spent her life bringing joy and happiness to those around her. She spent over 25 years working for the Walmart Corporation where she built lasting friendships and fond memories.

Josie was preceded in death by her parents, Santos and Candelaria Gomez Martinez; brothers Johnny Martinez and Danny Martinez.

Surviving Josie is her husband of 58 years, Paul Fuentez; three children, David Fuentez, Dennis Fuentez, and Dianna Fuentez Eaves all of Jacksonville; five grandchildren, Lea Eaves, Mitchell Eaves Jr., David Fuentez III, Esther Fuentez, and Mirisa Eaves; seven siblings Santos Martinez Jr. (Lupe) of Dallas,TX; Felix Martinez (Nancy) of Boyd, TX; Candelario Martinez of Decatur, TX; Thomas Martinez of Lake Worth, TX; Robert Joe Martinez of Ranger, TX; Linda Sue Bishop (Lee) of Phoenix, AZ; and Rickey P. Martinez (Denise) of Springtown, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
