Julia M. Cole

COLE - Julia M. Cole passed away peacefully on July 29, 2018. She was born October 14, 1930 in Jacksonville, Florida to Nellie and Elmer Knowles. She met the love of her life, Frank H. Cole, Sr., just after WWII and they were married on July 16, 1949. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Julia and Frank built their family home in Arlington where they lived for 50 years and raised their three children. They spent their retirement years at Westminster Woods in Julington Creek. Julia was predeceased by her parents, her beloved husband, her brothers Jack, Bob, and Raymond Knowles, and her grandson, Brian Cole. She is survived by her brother Leroy Knowles (Sally), her children Bob (Kathy), Sharon (Terry) and Frank (Andrea), her grandchildren Blake Cole (Vicky), Brett Cole (Emma), Christopher and Michael Gilbert, her great-grandchildren Norah, Bobby, Lincoln, Margot, and Dolores Cole. Our family is grateful for the care that she received at Westminster Woods and Community Hospice. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 18 at 11:00 in the Westminster Woods Auditorium 25 State Road 13, Jacksonville, Florida 32259.
