

June Roberta Chern Molter “Bobbie”, 71, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 17, 2014. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts, November 1, 1942, she lived all over the world due to her father being in the Navy and has resided in Jacksonville for 60 years.She graduated from Terry Parker High School in 1959 and soon after married Michael B. Molter. She has always been the heart of her family, which was the most important thing to her next to her unyielding faith in God. She was one of the founding members of Resurrection Catholic Church and dedicated a huge portion of her life to the church and the school. She was always involved in something whether it was the home and school association, decorating for a celebration or helping out at field days at the school with her kids. She would even participate in the parent-teacher softball games (Sorry Sr. MaryAnn). She loved being with her kids and always made their friends feel as if they were her kids as well, our door was always open. She was an avid athlete. Riding horses, swimming and playing tennis. She worked for the K-mart cooperation for 10 years.She witnessed her faith to everyone she knew and exemplified the life of Christ in her everyday life. She loved people and was loved in return by all who knew her. She will always be remembered for her fierce love and amazing laugh.She is preceded in death by her parents, John & Julia Chern, her husband Mike, and her sister, Sandra Ayers.Bobbie leaves to cherish her memories the loves of her life, her three children, his oldest son Michael (Holly), their children, Kris, Kyle, Kory, Kameron, and Kali, her son Daniel (Tammy), their children Brooke, Dalton and Dane and daughter, Donna Williams (Buckley) and their children, Tyler, Alia, Samantha and Emma.She is also survived by her brother, John Chern (John), brother-in-law Bob, sister-in-law’s Georgia MacLean (Don) and Jean Yontz, many nieces, nephews and friends.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 9 PM with a rosary at 8:30 on Friday at Corey-Kerlin Funeral home, 940 Cesery Blvd. A funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Resurrection Catholic Church, 3383 University Blvd, N. with Msgr. Vincent Haut and Father Steven Zehler officiating. Interment will follow the funeral mass at Arlington Park Cemetery. Donations may be made, in Bobbie’s memory, to a charity of your choice.
