Kareemeh Farr Essa passed away suddenly July 1st, 2016 at age 92. Born in Ramallah, Palestine in 1924, she immigrated to the USA with her family and has made her home in Jacksonville, Florida for the last 59 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jamil and Nezhah Farr; siblings, Aziz Farr and Jamileh Kharsa; and beloved husband, Essa Mike Essa. She is survived by seven children and their spouses, thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6-7pm on Tuesday, July 5th, 2016 with the Trisagion service beginning at 7pm at St. George Antiochian Church, 6300 Bowden Rd, 32216. The funeral service will be held at 10am on Wednesday, July 6th, 2016 at St. George Antiochian Church with The Very Rev. Archpriest Kamal Al-Rahil officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, 32207.
