Kathleen Cermack

Kathleen Cermack,-Katie to all- sadly and suddenly passed away on June 17, 2024. Born in New Jersey, the youngest of nine siblings, Katie moved to Jacksonville, Florida with her family in 1983 and remained in the area until her untimely death. After completing her academic studies, Katie worked in the mortgage servicing industry for most of her life.

Katie successfully and enthusiastically embraced the role of mother, and with the help of her close knit family, raised her daughter, Regan. At the time of her death, Katie was looking forward to the birth of her first grandson.

As the youngest of nine siblings, Katie was doted on by her parents, Thomas and Anne, (deceased), and her eight brothers and sisters. Guided by her parents example and their support,

Katie was a wonderful mom to her daughter. One of her greatest joys was attending Regan’s softball games and cheering on her talented daughter. She was a fierce Notre Dame football supporter and a fan of her beloved Jaguars.

All lives experience trials and tribulations. So it was with Katie. We choose to celebrate her life.

Katie never quit. Never surrendered. She just ran out of time.

Katie is survived by her daughter Regan, her siblings Thomas, Barbara, Sam, MaryGrace, Patricia, and Dan. She joins her father, Thomas, her mother, Anne, and her brothers James and John Paul in the embrace of our lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

A funeral mass will take place on Tuesday August 6, 2024 at 11:00 am at Resurrection Church, Jacksonville Fl.

Due to weather complications Katie s funeral Mass has been rescheduled to Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 11:00 am at Resurrection Church in Jacksonville, Florida.
