Larry E. Hurt, 74, of Saint Johns, Florida, passed away in his home on July 31, 2018. Larry was born on July 6, 1944 to the late, LoBurnice Combs-Hurt and Augusta Hurt in Paint Lick, Kentucky. As a young man, Larry joined the U.S. Army and served honorably during the Vietnam War. In 2011, he relocated to Saint Johns, Florida from Savannah, GA. Larry was a self-described and successful, “serial entrepreneur” in many fields. He loved the Lord, and spending time with his family and friends.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Margaret A. Hurt; son, Larry Hurt, Jr.; daughter, Jeri Marie Henderson; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother, Gustie Hurt, Jr.; and sisters, Linda Hurt-Miller and Mary Hurt-Stout.
Inurnment will take place at a later date in Camp Nelson National Cemetery, 6980 Danville Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356.
