Lawrence H. Love

Lawrence Howard Love age 68 of Jacksonville went home to be with his Lord on February 24, 2014. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida to the late James and Myra Veal Love. He was a truck driver for many years. He was a life time volunteer member of Oceanway Volunteer Fire Department and a member of Upper Paint Creek Church of God in Greeneville, Tennessee.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 48 years Helen Love, sons, Simon Love (Laura), Roy Love ( Kathy), daughters, Angel Kay (Ricky), Amanda Mercer (Jimmy). Grandchildren, Ashley, Bessie, Brandy, Renee, J.R., Chris, Austin, Lindsey, Scotty, Cameron and Brandon. Several Great Grandchildren: Kiara, Junior, Michael, Jayden, Josh, Jaiden, Trevin, Kaleb, and Kynleigh. Brother Bull Claxton (Ernestine), Sister Marie Miller (Bobby). Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday February 27, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Main Street Chapel 4315 North Main Street Jacksonville . The funeral service will be Friday February 28th, 2014 at 1:00 pm. At Hardage-Giddens Main Street Chapel with the Rev. Buddy Wimberly officiating. Burial will follow in the Ferriera Cemetery on Starratt Road.
