Lillian R. Peters, age82, passed away on November 19, 2015 at West Jacksonville Health and Rehab in Jacksonville. She was born on August 3, 1933 in Paris, Texas to James and Laura Haliburton. Lillian has been a resident of Jacksonville most of her life.
Prior to retirement she was a Home Health Care Aid for over 30 years serving the Jacksonville community. She was of the Mormon Faith.
She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Mary Peters and her son Glen Hughes.
Ms. Peters is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dale Hughes and Susan Healy of Jacksonville, FL and her daughters, Fran and son-in-law Bill Bond of Keizer, Oregon, Keitha Ford of Orange Park, FL, and Sheila Giles of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by her brother, Bill Haliburton also of Jacksonville and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32207 with inurnment immediately following.
