Lois M. Arrocena

Lois Marie Arrocena, 90 went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 26th, 2014. Her sole purpose for living was her family and friends. She would not have had it any other way! She devoted her life to loving and caring for her family.

She was born July 8th, 1924 in Cross City, Florida. She was predeceased by her parents Tom Hilliard and Lila Wilkerson Shore as well as her sister Ruth Bernard and brother Merrill Hilliard. She is survived by her sister Lynn Garner (Andy) and her life long friend Robert Bryant.

She is survived by her children Christopher T. Arrocena (Pam), Christine Jones (Rex) and Steven F. Arrocena. She was predeceased by her daughters Linda A. Graham and Lila Ann Arrocena. She had nine grandchildren, predeceased by Lisa Joins and Chris Arrocena, and survived by Michelle O’Quinn (Thomas), Amy Nemeth (Mike), Adam Jones (Christiana), Creig Arrocena (Monisha), Joshua Wilder, Travis Wilder and Brittany Arrocena. She is also survived by her biggest pride and joys her seventeen great grandchildren!!

Services will be held at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home at 729 South Edgewood Ave. Jacksonville, FL 32205 on Saturday, November 1st. The family will accept visitors at 10 a.m. with services following at 11 a.m. Internment will immediately follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
