Lois G. Conrad

Mrs. Conrad, oldest child of John and Amelia Glover was born in Marietta, NC on Dec. 6, 1918. Her childhood was spent in NC, later in Charleston SC, Lockhart, AL and Pensacola, FL where she met her husband Glen.

After his death in 1994, she moved to Jacksonville FL to be near her daughter and grandchildren. She was member of the Nazarene Church and loved spending time fishing, reading, crocheting and being with family. She also enjoyed many hours as a bookkeeper Red Cross volunteer and serving as a poll sitter at election times.

She is survived by her daughter Joyce Haigler, grandchildren, Ken and Jama Lichtenwalter, grandson James Lichtenwalter, and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, John Glover and sister, Katherine Roberts.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10am on October 23rd in the University Blvd of the Nazarene.

Memorials may be made to the Jacksonville Humane Society in dedication to the precious puppy, Daphne and or the American Heart Association.
