She loved gardening and could coax the ugliest plant to grow into the most beautiful flower. Peggy had a knack for turning brown to a beautiful green. Most of the plants and flowers she grew were given away to cheer of brighten someone’s day.
Peggy dedicated most of her life to helping the young and old alike. From opening her home to many young people, giving them a place to call home, to making sure many of the elderly had a meal and clean clothes. Those blessed by her affection learned quickly how to take life’s lemons and make lemonade.
Her favorite thing to do was to gather her five children and spouses, eleven grandchildren and spouses and 12 great grandchildren together every year during the holidays. She was a fierce competitor in the game of “Sequence”, leaving a couple of sore shins under the table by the end of the game.
Our loss is Heaven’s celebration as she has enters Heaven’s gates to meet her Savior and Lord.
