Lucile Troup Bishop

Lucile Troup Bishop, age 89, passed away January 23, 2018 in Jacksonville, Florida. Lucile was born on November 29, 1928 in Fitzgerald, Georgia to William and Lugeania Troup. She was a member of Lane Avenue Church of God for 60 years, and was a Sunday school teacher. Lucile was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. Lucile was a title clerk and retired from the City of Jacksonville. She loved her Lord, and loved her family dearly. Lucile will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Lucile is preceded in death by her husband Joe Bishop and one sister Barbara Stovall. Lucille is survived by her daughter Laura Courson (Rick); her son Joey Bishop; one grandson Warren Courson; her two sisters Betty Troup Smith and Aline Byrd; and her brother Dean Troup.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Lane Avenue Church of God, 2956 Lane Avenue North, Jacksonville, Florida 32254. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the church.
