Luis Gotay, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Carmen Gotay, his children Nellie, Linda, Crystal, and Luis as well as 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his Mother, brother, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Luis was known for his deep love of family, his kindness, and his strong faith. His love extended beyond his immediate family-he was a man who made everyone feel like family.
“Well done good and faithful servant… enter into joy of your Lord” Matthew 25:23
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A visitation for Luis will be held Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Hardage - Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207. Followed by a funeral service beginning at 1:30 PM. A committal service will take place after the funeral service at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
