M. Margaret Williams a devoted, loving mother and friend age 73 of Jacksonville passed away March 25, 2008. The Wrightsville, Ga. native had lived in Jax. for 60 yrs. coming from Wrightsville, Ga. and was a retired Merchandise Associate with the J.C. Penney Co. She was partner of the St. Marys Seafood and Steak House for 23 yrs. She was a member of the 39ers Bowling League. Survivors are: 1 Daughter: Frances Metz, (Rick) 1 Son: David L. Williams, Jr., (Debra) 1 Sister: Marie Miller, 2 Brother: Gene Claxton and Lawrence Love. 4 Grandchildren: Dave and Ritchie Williams, Jenny Riles and Brad Metz. 2 Great Grandchildren: Bailey and Brayden (Badger). Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, March 28, 2008 at the Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave. with Brother Buddy Wimberly officiating with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 7 pm Thursday, (TODAY) at the funeral home.
