MaDoel T. Rupert "Dodie"

MaDoel T. Rupert "Dodie" age 87 of Jacksonville FL., passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 9:45pm at St. Vincent's hospital. Dodie was the beloved wife of Cleodis V. Rupert "Buddy" of 64 years. She was born in Spartanburg, SC on November 16, 1925. She is also survived by her daughter, Cheryl Hughes of Salt Springs, FL, her son, J (pat) Baker of Interlachen, FL , daughter, Gail (Joe) Cabral of Jacksonville, FL. Her three sisters, Betty Sitgreaves of Aiken,SC, Edith Paxton of Spartanburg, SC, and Jeri Ann Wood of Pinson, AL. Her brother, Dicky Turner of Spartanburg, SC. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 18 great- grandchildren, 5 great-great- grandchildren, and numerous nieces, and nephews. Dodie was a very special person, she was spunky and full of life, anyone that ever met her loved her, and her life will be celebrated by all who knew her. The family visitation to greet friends will be held on Monday, June 24, 2013 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Hardage-Giddens Edgewood Ave., Jacksonville, FL., 32205. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 11:00am, in the Chapel of Hardage-Giddens Edgewood Funeral Home. Graveside Service of burial will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Jacksonville Memory Gardens of Orange Park, FL.
