Marcella Amrein Lowe

A graduate of Robert E. Lee High School, she went to work for Florida National Bank where she worked until her retirement. She worked at the bank for 45 years and retired as a Vice President in the Trust Department.

Mrs. Lowe was a member of Credit Professionals and the Alderman Park Civic Assn. She was very active in her community serving on the Arlington CPAC, Arlington Clean-up and the City of Jacksonville TRUE Commission. She was also a member of the Gator Bowl Assn and a charter season ticket owner for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Mrs. Lowe was a member of Hendricks Ave Baptist Church where she served as a Deacon and formerly church Treasurer.

Mrs. Lowe is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and Bill Gallup; grandchildren , Randy (Allison) Gallup and Missy (John) Metz; great-grandchildren, Keegan, Emma and Molly Gallup and Patrick Metz; sisters, Carolyn Brown and Phyllis Singletary; and grandogs, Tallie, Otto, Pepper and Coco.

Visitation will be held Tuesday 6-8 at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home on Cesery Blvd. Funeral Services will be held at Hendricks Ave Baptist Church on Wednesday at 11AM with Internment at Oaklawn Following the Service.
