Margaret was born in Greenock, Scotland on March 10, 1950 to James Cowan and Margaret Cowan. She was the oldest of 14 who she took care of as they grew up. She then married Johnny Molina, July 1969 and they went on to have four beautiful daughters. She devoted her life to raising her daughters and being a wonderful homemaker. After spending 11 years in Scotland, the Molina family moved to the USA. Due to being a military family, they moved up and down the East Coast before settling in Jacksonville, raising their family and calling it home. Although residing in the Uniteds States, she was a very proud Scottish woman and made sure that everyone knew it. Greta enjoyed talking with and spending time with family, shopping, completing word search puzzles, dancing, and being the life of the party. She was stubborn, she was funny and she was carefree. Someone who was always open to meeting new people, making friends and cracking jokes. She was known for her Friday night ritual which was her favorite beverage in hand, on the phone catching up with her family in Scotland and Washington for hours. Once she was blessed with grandchildren, she once again started her journey helping to raise her grandchildren until they turned school age ensuring they were loved and well taken care of during those most impressionable young years. During her last five years, Greta still kept us on our toes with her sassiness, quirkiness and testy personality. In our hearts Margaret was and always will be a loving caring wife, mother and Nanny. She was the heart of our family who we loved and cared for fiercely. She was a bright light, she will be forever missed although her light will always shine on.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Johnny, her four daughters, Angela Weber (Gary Sr.), Donna Arn (Randy), Norma Molina Rayo (Ben), and Emma Rayo (Ricardo); six grandchildren, RJ (Kera), Kiana (Wyatt), Brandon (Maya), Gary Lee (Bryanna), Emilio, and Emric; two great grandchildren, Macy-Lynn and Rosalie; Eight sisters, five brothers, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Cowan and Margaret Cowan.
