Margery C. Timmons

Miami, Florida became her home at age one, where she lived until 1959, when she and her husband, Joel W. Timmons, Sr., were married. Mr. Timmons was in the Navy, and they lived in several places, before coming to Jacksonville, Florida, in 1964.

Margery has been a member of Cedar Hills Baptist Church, since moving to Jacksonville.

She was preceded in the death of her husband of over 30 years, the late Joel W. Timmons, Sr. She is survived by her son, Joel W. Timmons, Jr., and her step-daughter-in-law, Julie Timmons, Eureka, Ca., and many cousins, nieces, and, nephews.

The funeral service will be held at Cedar Hills Baptist Church, 4200 Jammes Road, Jacksonville, Florida, on Monday, December 30, 2013, at 11 AM.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Thomasville, Georgia, on Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at 11 AM.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, a memorial gift be made to Cedar Hills Baptist Church.
