Marion R. Edwards

Marion Edwards, 80, passed away and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 16, 2025 after a brief illness. Marion was a long time resident of the Jacksonville area and leaves behind nieces Anita Lightner, Auriela Nuxoll, Sandy Eisenhart, and Cindy Slider and nephews John Saucier and Billy Hand as well as a cherished family friends, Chris Blount & Karen, and many friends and neighbors.

Marion was born and raised in Norfolk, VA and retired from the U.S. Federal Government as an auditor/accountant.

Marion was a 20-year member of Mandarin Presbyterian Church where she was active in many ministries including the Sanctuary Choir, Sisters In Spirit small group, usher team and the MPC Daily Bread Food Pantry. She could also be seen walking the Julington Creek bridge, riding her bike, and swimming as part of her regular fitness routine. Marion enjoyed the beach, gardening and crafting. Quick with a smile and greeting, her joyfulness and love of the Lord will be most remembered.

Marion is preceded in death by husband, Mallory Edwards, son, Samuel Luciana and twin sister, Allie Virginia Ryan.

A service of Celebration will be held at Mandarin Presbyterian Church located at 2501 Loretto Road, Jacksonville, FL on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 11:00 AM
